My cardigan got here! I love it so much <3 It'll be really great to wear at Christmas, especially after I get my dress dyed.
Also, I've got my eye on a dress, and I messaged the person about shipping to the States, but in the description they said that they're only taking UK bids. Would someone be willing to receive it for me and ship it on, if they'll accept my offer?

...I need help. At a new store, there was so many wonderful alts. Finally found a great one for Clara's All Saints jacket, except it's a bit shorter, but it's great, consider it's a Christmas present. xD And then a navy cardigan for a Molly Hooper cosplay (Blind Banker) as well as regular wear, and a few other things I have planned. I found an AMAZING alt for Clara's Cold War shoes, but they didn't have my size, unfortunately. But they were great. And just 20 dollars too!

It's out of my budget too . But with the right fabric, I think it can be handmade with no problems! Also, is there a skirt or pants?

It hasn't been IDed yet, I don't think. There's only been two pictures, and one is very small and it's impossible to even tell that it is Clara, to be honest. Considering that it's Clara, it's probably a skirt and tights. www.doctorwhotv.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/time-of-the-doctor-clara-silent.jpgBut it does look like it could be pants. Honestly, I'd love it if it was pants. I think it might be, but it's so hard to tell from that tiny picture. If it is, I already have a suitable alt for it. Now I'm off to find an alt for the sweater! xD

Someone said over at Clara Oswald Cosplay that it's most likely a skirt and tights.

It is the most likely that's it's a skirt and tights. Another thing I thought of was that it could be shorts and tights, because when I zoomed in on the picture, there was still like a gap rather far up, from where she's stepping backwards, but I couldn't tell if it was that or just light. Hopefully, we'll find out and get an ID soon.

To be fair, they look a little like a pair of shorts recently stocked in Topshop. Definitely not making an ID because I haven't seen a good enough picture, I'm just saying. Plus Topshop is always a culprit when it comes to the companions wardrobes

Not Doctor Who, but I'm just so happy! My parents are getting me the Topshop alt of Molly Hooper's cardigan from The Great Game and Reichenbach Fall for Christmas, and I'm so excited. <3

It is a skirt and tights. Topshop as a good alt if not the SA item, the Tall Leather A-line Skirt.

I have got to get at least one of my Christmas cosplays finished soon, preferably before Christmas. I'd like to get one of my Time of the Doctor cosplays done. Her red tartan would probably be the easiest, as long as I get a cardigan! It's proving to be a pain in the butt to find. So tomorrow I'll probably be hunting for a black cardigan or a yellow jumper to get it completed before my Who themed Christmas party as some friends come over for Time of the Doctor. I'm amazed that I don't have what I need though. Maybe I'll get them both on the same day. Also, we finally got a picture of her yellow outfit shoes, which I am in love with. fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc3/1506601_431653436935974_53033954_n.jpg I love them! I hope I can find a good alt pair soon. UPDATE: Finally found a cardigan! In the deep recesses of my closet, one I thought was too small. Actually, it was really small a couple of months ago, when I tried it on. Apparently I've lost a few inches. I'd still like to get a yellow jumper, but now I can find a more SA one. I still need to find a good pair of boots but I got a pair not too long ago that could work. The toe is super square though, which doesn't look very good. So close with this one!

So I found a few great alts. today to finish up my Day of the Doctor Cosplay, and I'm debating on purchasing the blue version of the Yumi Time of the Doctor cadrdigan. My problem: cash. Once I get these things (and her NiS skirt perhaps), I'll be done with Clara for a while (that is until series 8, lol). So ideas? I'm trying to clean out my wardrobe and sell things I don't wear anymore, but that doesn't seem to be going all that well. My husband says I have to earn the money for all my cosplay outside of work because we need what I make for bills. I have a few knitting jobs that I need to get done, and I'll get paid for those, but I haven't had a ton of time to knit lately. so I'm stuck. How do you all raise money for this expensive hobby?

All my spare cash goes on cosplay :/ probably not good but anyway. I cross stitch (my other nerdy hobby) but making a commission off of that is hard. I sell a lot of things as well so it's basically whatever I can save. I'm venturing into making my own cosplays now (advice welcome!!) and if that goes well I might start making them to commission. I'm addicted to eBay so I need to stop!!!

I went on a huge shopping spree today. I went to get some pants because I only have a couple of pairs of jeans that fit right. I should've known not to go to the place I did (it's where I get everything for my cosplays. And everything's so darned cheap!). I got four pairs of pants. I got a lottttt more cosplay. Some Molly Hooper things, a start to either my Elsa or Anna from Frozen, a shirt for my hobbit cosplay, the shirt for my Jemma Simmons, and a dress that I'll use for something (it looks almost identical to one that Jenna Coleman wears in a photoshoot), and a Hufflepuff sweater for my sister. I spent way more than I needed to. Whoops. I need to get a job.
