The first time I ever managed to cosplay was back in 2006 as the Seventh Doctor from Season 26. But this wasn't at a convention. This was at home and I had a few photos taken. the costume is no way as good as it is now. The first time I cosplayed at a convention was back in Sept 2010 at Nor Con in Norwich, England. I stupidly forgot my paisley scarf so felt uncomplete. Gosh I myself and the costume back then looks so different and with the Dapol sweater.

The first cosplay item I ever purchased was Amy's Flesh and Stone/The Time of Angels hoodie, but that's still never made a public appearance anywhere! But the first time anyone ever saw me in character was for a Who-Themed party I threw, and I did The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon Amy because it was about 90 degrees and I was not about to wear sweaters and tights and the works. Sorry for the tacky instagram photo, but we never got to take proper pictures (incidentally, this is the only time I've ever been able to get my boyfriend to cooperate and cosplay with me. He makes such a perfect Rory, but he just refuses!). The first convention I attended was Philly Comic Con, where I was Amy from Asylum of the Daleks. Although not a lot of people recognized me, I loved this cosplay.

This one is a simple for me as I started on 26th of May at collectormania 2013 and never looked back meet few people there that are cosplayers and became good friends with them and have since done LFCC,Motormouth 2 and Nor-Con IV 2013 and met even more with interesting costumes and people and famous people.

Other than mucking around at a friend's house, my first foray into Who-cosplay was this year at Motor City Comic Con, in Detroit. I brought my quick and dirty Femme Jack Harkness and had a run in with the odd Ood.

I wore my first Doctor Who costume at Dragoncon 2011, with my friend as the TARDIS. I wore Donna several times through the weekend and my TARDIS Marie Antoinette, too. It was so much fun.

My first time in the Doctor costume seems like a lifetime ago now! It was in June 2008 at the Suffolk Show, my housemate at the time worked for BBC Radio Suffolk and they were having a Doctor Who themed display and were also broadcasting live from the event. She suggested I don the suit and come down, I'd never worn the outfit in public so had no idea what to expect. The result was mad, I've still to this day never been photographed as much as I was on that day! I met Terry Molloy and ended up chatting to him live on the Radio about Doctor Who and the impending return of Davros. It was amazing! I look back at the pictures now and the outfit looks really bad compared to now, but if I'd never been to the evnet I would have never started...

My first DW cosplay piece was my Tom Baker scarf. I learned how to knit just so I could make that scarf. It's been over a year since I finished the scarf and now I make and sell all sorts of nerdy knitted items. I LOVE my Tom Baker scarf and can't wait for the colder weather to come so I can start wearing it again. It was shortly after this that I decided to start planning to cosplay as Clara, as Jenna had just been announced as the new companion. I have been cosplaying as her ever since!

First time I ever cosplayed within the fandom was in April this year, in a really, really makeshift outfit that vaguely resembled Amy's The Angels Take Manhattan outfit only not really. The outfit may not have been great (at all. like. really.) but there were some good shots that day; most notably the one where my wig (which, I have to say, is a lot less RED and much more ginger in real life) wouldn't cooperate but the picture ended up being fantastic just because of the wind: My first time cosplaying at a convention will be at LFCC! (unless we count that one time at a tumblr meetup at my hometown.)

My first cosplay within the DW fandom was last year, at a con near my town ^^. It was a Dalek dress, all the clothes made from scratch. Almost no one recognized me (the DW fandom in Spain is growing, but last year there was not many whovians), but the ones who did really liked it! This year went better with the Clara cosplay, I went with more people all in DW cos, and more people recognize us, so that's nice ^__^
