Unless the item is a classic piece that can work from season to season through time, most places will not restock certain things, especially dresses since the style and patterns that are hot one year, are not the next. I have a sister-in-law that is a high end women's fashion buyer and I've asked her about this before with other "costume" clothes from other genres over the years. She pretty much told me that unless there is random stock in a warehouse somewhere that was not reallocated or destroyed, they don't usually bring items back. The only piece I could see possibly making a come back would be the satchel. This is a very good article explaining how retail inventory works. www.quora.com/How-do-retailers-dispose-sell-their-season-ending-excess-inventoryI'm not trying to put down what you are attempting, but I don't want you to get your hopes up too high. Try it out and see if it works, I'm sure if they feel that enough people are interested, they may bring it back next season or in two. It certainly won't be a fast process as new inventory would have to be made (barring there is no excess reallocated elsewhere already) and then they'd probably only offer it online or at certain brick and mortar shops in a limited quantity. Unfortunately, doing this is also slightly not fair to others who have forked over the $200+ for a piece that is currently rare because they had to have it. I've been there, and was quite upset when something I thought would be rare ended up going main stream and was now way cheaper than what I had paid.

Bless you, ladywhoI have had SUCH a crazy week at work, that I hadn't had time to work on the petitions. This is great. We need to start spamming them with messages now. I think we can do this because we were able to do it successfully with many of the pieces from Twilight. Can you post these links over to the Clara Oswald Cosplay page so we can get others involved?

And the potential that this has for all cosplayers is huge. If UO rereleases some Clara items, who is to say that they won't have Rose items after interest is shown, or even Molly Hooper from Sherlock? I'm sure there are others as well, I just can't think of anymore at the moment.
Thank you for doing this!

benaequee, I hear what you're saying but I am not a pessimist, I really want to try. You can't get anything in life if you don't try, but yes I keep the realities in check about possibilities. I am hopeful. Plus River Island already responded, granted, it was a generic "We will have more tea dresses in spring." but it's worth it. And as far as others paying more...well a lot of people buy when it's online, and then resell later. I stupidly didn't buy some of them when I saw them and lost out. I have paid a lot for things, as well. I don't find it unfair, I find losing everything on ebay and having to pay as much as I did for my iphone, for a dress , unfair. I'm hoping we at least get a decent amount of people backing us, even if nothing comes of it. Thank you, ladies, for your support <333 And if you can think of any places or people who would help promote these, that would be amazing. Also, to Sarah, I figured you were, I had so much time to think about it since you talked of it. I really am hopeful and I saw the twilight petitions still online, so that was inspiring, too. I posted on Clara Oswald Cosplay's FB, but you saw already

Well, I'm pumped. I know there were a lot of girls on the FB page that were on board so we're bound to at least get them to help us out!
