Baron Boutique.....are they colour blind???

Just thought I'd start this thread on the clothiers from Nepal.

Now don't get me wrong, they do make quality suits, jackets etc, but the colours? Arrrgghhh! Do they actually watch Doctor Who?! 3 years ago I bought 2 Tennant suits, one brown/blue stripes & one blue/red stripes. The brown: perfect. The blue: too dark & the stripes were too vivid, so at a distance it looked purple. I wanted to go for the 10th look, not the Joker look   
Plus after washing them they went about 4 shades lighter, which was fine for the blue as it did look a bit more screen accurate but didn't do the brown any favours.

Then a month ago, I ordered the 7th Doctor 'cream' jacket. Now I know its meant to be a light grey but it does look cream on their website, as it does on screen. But after receiving mine today, I was horrified to find it looks too dark to pass as light grey or cream! The jacket is very well made, but they really should do their research first!!

My other half has the brown Tennant suit from Baron Boutique and loves it (he got his overcoat from Magnoli clothiers though and that is stunning. He also got 4th's red jacket (not sure what season) and that was really good, almost spot on in fact. As far as I know he's never had a problem with Baron Boutique

I always thought their 4th Doctor red jacket (season 12), was too light in colour. But I agree, their Tennant suit is good (until it's washed  ).
Did he get the wool or cotton Tennant suit? I got the cotton & the blue pinstripes are printed on, whereas the Magnoli suits have the stripes woven into the fabric.


I got my 10th overcoat from Abbyshot clothiers in Canada, it's great but I'm wishing now that I'd waited & got a false suede one from the cosplay sellers in China.
