So, I've managed to secure tickets to a showing of Day of the Doctor at a local cinema and I thought it would be fun to cosplay. I mean, Harry Potter fans did it, Twilight fans did it, even Star Trek fans did it! Would it be so bad for Doctor Who fans to do it to?
So is anyone else cosplaying at a cinema showing? Who are you going as if so?

So tempted, if I did it would be as Eight, as that's the only Who costume I have. I'd do Ten or Eleven if I had the costume though. More chance of people recognising me as The Doctor rather than just a bloke dressed all fancy.

I'm hoping to be able to make it to one of the showings, and if I do, I'll probably go as DotD!Clara.

We have tickets to go to our local showing. I dunno, I have a couple unfinished ones I could do, my Nine and my hubby's Jack Harkness are both missing just the jacket and a couple small pieces. Otherwise my David Doodle t-shirt and SA Tenth Doctor 50th Anniversary tie will have to do. I'll probably let my daughter wear her Eleven cosplay to it if she wants.

The closest showing is an hour and a half from me... and Monday is a school night. I asked my hubby if we could go, but he's right, we'd be dead tired. He said he'd find a way so I can watch it during the simulcast. I'm still dressing up like Clara that day when I go into work I think my kids will like that!

Closest showing is 3ish hours away, so we are having a screening party here in town and watching on a friend's big screen. I'll probably show up in either Jack or Rory.

Our closest showing is close to three hours away. I'm probably going to have a few friends come over (quite a few of them don't get BBC America), so we're all probably going to dress up. I'm going to be DotD!Clara, if I can ever find a good alt for her jacket (darn Belstaff. I can't afford an $800 jacket!). I think my friend is going to be Sarah Jane.

I'm thinking of going as DotD Clara. I got a Barbour off eBay as an alt for her Belstaff and it looks great! I will definitely have to keep an eye out for a Barbour then. That looks great! It's probably one of the best alts I've seen.

I will definitely have to keep an eye out for a Barbour then. That looks great! It's probably one of the best alts I've seen. Cost me £70 which is cheaper than a Barbour costs brand new! You'll need to look for ones that are not quilted. I would say that the Barbour International 'Brass' is probably the best but you have to go with what you can get. Thank you very much I worked long and hard on that one to get it as right as I could
