So, I'm working with a source to get some fabric printed to make my Ten suit. I'm probably in for 7-10 yards, depending on cost (hoping to stay under/at $15/yard) and to make the minimums required to order. Currently debating whether a lightweight cotton, kinda like quilting woven, would work, or whether to try for a lightweight wool suiting or similar. Also, (and why i put this in the For Sale category, admins feel free to move it if this is not the right place) would anyone else be interested in buying in? The larger the order, the lower we can get the per yard pricing. Biggest difference I think will be that the pinstripes will likely be printed on rather than woven in. Oh, and I'd be shipping it to you from the US, so take that into account. I hear UK customs fees can be on the spendy side for fabric.

I'm interested. I would prefer a light wool, but will work with what's available.

I may be interested as well. Probably about 3 yards. Light wool suiting would be my preference. Keep me updated.

I am still working on this. My contact with the supplier has been out sick, so I probably won't know anything til she gets back.

I'm still waiting to hear a price and fabric availability from the supplier, but here's the graphic they'd be working from. I'm still debating on if I need to tweak the colors at all. Feedback? Pinstripe spacing should be SA in the final file, width may end up a little off but shouldn't be noticeable.

Thanks for the updates. I am still interested in fabric. The pinstripes look a little on the purple side in the picture but it may just be the resolution on my screen. Everything else looks great!!

I can play with the color some tonight after I get home from OryCon setup. The printer I'll be using for this does have wool, I'm just waiting to hear whether they'll print it and a price. If they won't print the wool, then I'll be getting it as a 100% cotton quilter's fabric, which will land between $17-20/yard plus shipping to you, I still need to figure out and build in my cost per yard for paypal fees and shipping from the printer to me.

Spoonflower.com has a nice selection of the Tennant pinstripe starting at $17.50 a yard. Have you checked them out? They have all sorts of great DW designs!

I've never been happy with the quality of Spoonflower's fabric. The Kona cotton I bought once was very stiff, and fades pretty quickly. So I'm very hesitant to buy there again.

So, I've gotten tired of never getting a reply from my current rep and am in search of another. I have a couple suggested contacts I'm going to work on over the school break. In the meantime, I've fiddled with the image file they'll base the fabric on. I'm having issues with trying to add the picture though.

Here is the edited image. Opinions? Where do I need to tweak it more, if at all?

Made contact with the new rep. We are not going to be able to get the wool. Investigating trying to get something in a heavier cotton at least. Maybe a bottomweight.

I'd also be interested in this fabric as well. If my calculations are correct, I'll also need about 10 yards.
