I want a wig for my Rose cosplay but I don't want to ditch a load of money into a bad wig! So where did you get your wig from (if you wear one)? Are you happy with it? Did you chance it and buy off the internet or did you go into a shop and have a look first? Hit me with your wig advice!

[screeches] WIIIIIIIIIIIGS My Amy wig (which, post-LFCC) is officially DEAD was just a fancy dress wig, seven pounds, and I hated it a lot. Although, let's be honest, it got the job done. As for Rose wigs, one of the things that's been stopping me from completing a Rose cosplay is finding a nice wig. Because I'm a perfectionist and I think a proper Rose wig should have dark roots and all. Anyway, I personally like window-shopping over here because they do have a bunch of wigs that could look for Rose, as well as a lot of nice brunette wigs that could probably work for Claras?? And they're UK based and reasonably priced as well....

I always go for Ebay. The wigs are cheap (the cheapest I got was ~8€), and you can find awesome things if you search carefully! Also, if you want to do Rose roots, there are methods that can be used to paint wigs! Edit: I checked, my curly Clara wig was 10$ (with free shipping). And I recently bought this one for the straight hair look ^^ (my hair is orange right now haha) www.ebay.com/itm/151106851758?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649PS: The bad thing about the ebay is the shipping time, make sure you order them with a month and a half time!

I'm trying to find a good Rose wig, because I'd love to do a few Rose cosplays. The Empty Child is getting higher on my to-do list, so I'll have to find a good wig for that soon... But if I can find a good blond wig, I can add the roots with a brown sharpie or something. I'd also have several (nearly) complete Amy cosplays, so I just need a good ginger wig for that. Not to mention I have a wedding dress in my closet that I thifted a few years ago, and I'd love to do an Amy or Donna.

I'm also working on a Rose wig. After lots of shopping around on the internet and wig shops, it has become clear that I'm going to have to make one. I've spoken with several girls that wear weaves and wigs and they make their own! It sounds crazy but, after watching some YouTube tutorials, it looks pretty simple. Human hair tracks are pretty affordable and can be coloured as needed. I want it to look as realistic as possible. Wish me luck!
