I always find that the night before a convention event is like how I felt as a child when it was the night before Christmas day. Usually I am so excited and nervous about going to the convention I find it very hard to sleep. Most of the time I get very little sleep and then when at the convention feel very tired and weak. I love conventions so much that the night before I am very excited about going to them.

Oh, absolutely. Getting everything ready the night before - getting my costume ready, making sure my tickets are where I think they are, getting lunch ready to take (to save having to pay the crazy prices charged at most venues), and checking the official forums repeatedly to see if anything else has been announced, even if I'm not doing preparation late into the night, my mind is just buzzing. And then I have to get up early in the morning on very little sleep...
