Well I thought the first half of Series 7a was pretty good. I really enjoyed Asylum of the Daleks and A Town Called Mercy. I thought Angels Take Manhatten should of been a two-parter for Amy and Rory. Didn't know what to make of Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. The Power of Three was pretty good, nice seeing The Brigaders daughter involved within the Whovian world. But my favourite story from the whole of this half was A Town Called Mercy. I find The Doctor to be pretty dark in that story and Adrian Scarbrough is really fantastic in his role. I love the cowboy/western setting and I think its a really good written piece of Who.

My least favorite was probably Power of Three. I don't know, I just couldn't stay involved as much as I thought I would be. Asylum of the Daleks was brilliant, and Angels Take Manhattan ripped my heart out. A Town Called Mercy was a nice change of pace and it was really interesting. Dinosaurs on a Spaceship, I liked it too. I liked seeing a few other of my favorite BBC actors. xD

Angels was good but I thought for Amy and Rorys swansong it needed to be a two parter.

Yeah, I can see that. I would've liked to have seen more of Winter Quay. But I liked how it was, and I really can't imagine it any other way now that I've seen it. I wish that they had filmed the scene with Brian and Rory's son though. It would've been beautiful and I would've never stopped crying.

I love how we all have different tastes. Asylum was good, for me, but not Earth shattering - by far the best bit for me was seeing the old school Daleks wandering around once more. Dinosaurs was a fun romp - Brian was AWESOME, and I really wanted Nefertiti to punch LeStrade from Sherlock. Mercy I really didn't like, Manhattan left me in floods of tears, and Power of Three - well, I adore it. Kate Stewart was a stroke of GENIUS, and the cubes were awesome. end sort of fizzled, but as a way of keeping a Lethbridge-stewart in Who I can't help but love it completely.

Dinosaurs was really fun, and it was really just a major crossover episode for me, combining a ton of my favorite things. Filch from Harry Potter (loved him in this episode!), Lestrade from Sherlock (because Rupert Graves is an amazing actor), and Nefertiti (Ancient Egypt <3). And of course, dinosaurs which in and of itself it AMAZING! I thought it was nice and fun. Plus Amy in it...I just loved her. Plus Brian who was one of the best parts of the entire episode. Kate Stewart was a nice touch and I'm looking forward to seeing her again in the 50th. And Power of Three gave me the headcanon that the Doctor invented the Chicken Dance and he just really *really* regrets it now.

Brian was indeed absolutely brilliant. Such a wonderful and insightful character. Miss him more than I miss Amy and Rory. I'm really looking forward to David Bradley as Bill Hartnell in the upcoming Gatiss bio-drama...

...It's called the Birdie Song? Well, you learn something every day!
I really do miss Brian. He was a really wonderful character. I'd like to see him come back at some point. It'd be nice...
The bio-drama does look good. Since I haven't seen that much of Classic Who, I'm looking forward to seeing more about the Classic era.
