Comedians, comedy actors, what makes you laugh?

Well my favourite comedian is Frankie Howerd where as my favourite comedy actor is Kenneth Williams hence my username. I also find sitcoms funny as well. A modern sitcom I really like is Miranda. I reminds me of a female Frankie Howerd and feels very much like a classic sitcom in the modern day. I also love people like Tommy Cooper, Les Dawson, The Two Ronnies, Catherine Tate, Peter Kay oh the list is endless.

So what makes you laugh?

Loved Kenneth Williams - Willo the Wisp was GENIUS. Les Dawson on the piano was simply superb too. The Two Ronnies had occasional flashes of brilliance (and a sketch that utilised the TARDIS in one episode!)

I'm just starting to get into Miranda, that's quite clever and funny, and I do adore a TV outtakes show. Also I'll NEVER tire of watching films like Elf, and Enchanted, the Blues Brothers, Sister Act, and things like that.

I should of done my posh and snide voices of Kenneth Williams to you at LFCC. I know a lot about dear Kenny. A very intelligent man. Died too young. He would late 80s now if alive today. Shame he got typecast. He did direct two of Joe Ortons plays in the early 1980s, Entertaining Mr Sloane and Loot. Have you read the diaries?

Oh, and I love a total of TWO Carry On films. Just two. Carry on Sergeant - Billy Hartnell is wonderful to watch, and Carry on Screaming because I love a horror film and it's a great pastiche. Williams as Dr. Watt is awesome, and Fenella Fielding is great... I met her on the Tube the other month... she was fascinated with K-9, who was going to an event with me!

Oh wow thats great. I have all the Carry On films on DVD. Have also watched loads of documentries on Frankie Howerd and Kenneth Williams.
