Well, I've planned to join this forum for quite some time now, and now I am finally here.
I wouldn't call myself a cosplayer although things may look quite different. I am a professional tailor, specialised in historical clothing, corsets, goth, and as a logical consequence, I do often have customers that ask for costumes from movies, games or TV shows .. and if it comes to the things I make for myself, my favourite programme does influence that, of course
Which means, I alredy made some Doctor Who-related stuff, ranging from things that are inspired by, up to costumes that are as accurate as I can make it - which is sometimes very difficult to get the right fabric.
I'm not much into that "getting into character"-thing, I do photoshoots, for more than ten years now, but most of it was goth related stuff, as soon as I started making Who-costumes, it was clear that I'll ask my photographers for some pics of that, too. And - well - that works for me but I'm really not much of an actor so, it's mostly having fun and get inspired by my favourite series.
I've done a few designs for TARDIS dresses, too, and two others are already commissioned, I hope I can start working on them, soon.
If you like, have a look at my Facebook-page - I display most of my work there at the moment: www.facebook.com/TheTimeTravelingSewingCase
And to end my little indroduction - a few pictures - I've made the fourth and the eleventh Doctor so far, the pictures of the fourth Doctor are only snapshots, haven't had the time so far to do a proper shooting - but I already had the opportunity with the eleventh Doctor - so enjoy, and feel free to ask me whenever you want to know something else!
