I thought I would start a thread about my favourite season of Doctor Who, Season 26. Four stories filmed by broadcasted in a different order. They were filmed as: The Curse of Fenric (the Doctor wearing a dufflecoat to reveal his darker jacket at the beginning of part two which was meant to surprise viewers) Battlefield Survival Ghost Light How they aired/broadcasted was in a different order: Battlefield Ghost Light The Curse of Fenric Survival I love these stories for all different reasons. I think the darkest is a toss between The Curse of Fenric and Ghost Light. I love this Season as The Doctor hardly clowns around in it and becomes the master manipulator/schemer. This to be really does bring back the Mystery of The Doctor. Ace in this Season is much more mature and grown up. Its such a shame it was cancelled after this as I feel the show was really getting back on form. To watch a great trailer from this Season (in widescreen) Go here: A photo of the Dark Doctor I edited/manipulated.

The Curse of Fenric is one of the single best 80s Who stories you can find. Much like Egyptology and the Pyramids of Mars, Fenric's Norse mythology of curses, treasure, age old evil creatures, and the mixing in of vampirism works SO well.
Battlefield is great, Ghost Light is barking mad, and Survival... well....
