Bangs

So, Jenna has bangs sometimes, and Clara has them in The Time of the Doctor, and I really want to have them, but since I cosplay other people, and other times she doesn't have them, I don't want to cut them. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way I could do this? I know some places have clip on bangs, and if anyone's ever tried them, could they tell me how that worked out? Or if anyone knows a person I can contact about it. Thanks!

I've got bangs cut in now and there really easy to Hide if you know how. If I blowdry mine a certain way they blend into my hair. Bobby pins are also my friend

I can't look up pictures on this computer of the sort of bangs you mean, but I had a fringe cut in about 18 months ago and had no problems sweeping it off to the side or pinning it to hide it. If you really aren't keen on cutting in a fringe (and I understand because I've grown mine out and as much as I loved it, it's sort of a pain for upkeep as I don't have time to blowdry my hair of a morning and style) then I think...and don't quote me on this...you can get fake fringes? As with all things you'd have to research the best ones (or perhaps someone here has used them), I haven't personally used them to be able to pass judgement.

Not sure if this helps, but here's my solution: I noticed that Jenna's bangs are really long and tend to part on their own, I decided to kind of go half way and got long layers around my face that are /just/ short enough that I can pin and hairspray them in a sort of... curve? that makes it look like I have long bangs. That way I can look like I have bangs when I need to, but don't have them when I don't need to. It's not perfect, but it has worked for me so far. For reference, since I realize that's super unclear: with 'bangs': i.imgur.com/Mvt6JRv.jpgwithout bangs: i.imgur.com/HSWf4aD.jpg

I don't think I have the kind of skills to sculpt the bangs on my wig.
Does anyone have any experience with trying to just take a wig to a salon and have them cut it? Would that be too weird?
